Background

Double Coffee is a large coffee shop network operating in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and presently starting in Ukraine. The company has been stably growing since 2002 when it was started in Riga, Latvia. A typical Double Coffee place would offer you a cosy and elegant atmosphere, extensive snack menu, and renowned proprietary blend of coffee. The company has distinctive modern brand and is popular with young dynamic people.

Objective

The key objective was cool, nonstandard, vivid graphic design capable of effectively conveying Double Coffee brand to public. Technically the website should span several countries and present localized information through country-specific websites.

Implementation

The idea behind the design is visualization of emotions a typical customer would experience imbibing coffee at one of DC shops. To our mind it is a rich mix of vivid, strong yet elegant impressions one would remember and associate with the DC. To achieve the goal we came up with the vision of mixed pop-art-to-grange design implemented in Flash to achieve certain level of dynamism and artistic effect.

Navigating from the main page that serves as a country-specific website selector the user would go to one of the DC-served countries websites with extensive information about menus, actions and news, as well as corporate information.
